You may be aware the NEU, the main teachers’ union, has planned strike action in a dispute over pay. The seventh and eighth strike action days will be on Wednesday 5th July 2023 and Friday 7th July 2023.

As we are unaware of how many of our teaching staff members will be striking the impact of this means some changes have to happen to the normal school day: - School will be closed to all Year 6 children due to staffing. - School will be open children in Nursery to Year 5 from 8.30am.

A hot meal will be provided to children who have a school meal.

Wednesday 5th July - Chicken Wrap or Quorn Wrap

Friday 7th July – Battered Fish or Quorn nuggetts

Children in Reception to Year 5 will have to be collected from school at 1.15 pm.

Please note that due to staffing ratios, we are only able to open Nursery for the morning session.
